Co-Directors, Joseph and Seth Rivetti-Sharpe
Joseph Rivetti-Sharpe
Joseph Rivetti-Sharpe has been in the marching arts since he was a freshman in high school. Starting as a marching band member as a clarinet, he joined the winterguard at his high school as a sophomore.
After high school, he marched with The Boston Crusaders from 2018 through 2021, where he earned two “Zingali” awards for best color guard and was part of the leadership team during his age out. During the winter season, he performed with Juxtaposition in 2019, Inspire in 2020, Lexis in 2024, the Pride of Cincinnati in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and he is part of the 2025 Pride of Cincinnati cast.
Joseph joined the Miamisburg guard staff for the Winter 2022 season, Love Dream, and is excited to step into his new role. Before Miamisburg, he taught multiple high school programs in Indiana and Ohio. This includes Walter E. Stebbins HS, where, under his leadership, the group got promoted two times into higher classifications in winter guard. Additionally he has wrote choreography and taught Columbus North HS, Columbus East HS, Floyd Central HS, Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation, and Beavercreek HS. Additionally, he has taught for several clinics for multiple organizations including Pride of Cincinnati and One Light.
Seth Rivetti-Sharpe
Seth Rivetti-Sharpe has been in the marching arts since he was 14 years old. Starting as a marching band member as a tenor saxophone player, he joined the winterguard at his high school as a sophomore.
After high school, he marched with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 2016 to 2019, where he was Guard Sergeant for his age-out. During the winter season, he performed with Lexis in 2017, Inspire in 2020, and the Pride of Cincinnati in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
During his years of performing, Seth also earned in B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University Columbus and an M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Currently, he is attending Wright State University in pursuit of his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. He is on track to graduate in 2027.
During the day, Seth works with neurodiverse children, ages 2 to 18, as a Behavior Analyst. He helps them achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life by building communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills while decreasing challenging behaviors.
Seth joined the Miamisburg guard staff for the Fall 2022 season and is excited to step into his new role. Before Miamisburg, he taught multiple high school programs in Indiana and Ohio including Columbus North HS, Columbus East HS, Bedford North Lawrence HS, Floyd Central HS, and Walter E. Stebbins HS. He taught for One Light Winterguard, an independent group based out of Indianapolis. Additionally, he has taught for several clinics for multiple organizations.
Staff
World Guard staff include Heather Graham, Robin Wells, Sierra Bennett, and Danielle Marquardt.
Heather Graham
Heather Graham is a former director who continues to assist the internationally recognized Miamisburg High School Color Guard Program. Heather has been involved in the marching arts since age three, beginning with successful careers in baton twirling and rhythmic gymnastics and joining color guard at age 12. While performing and instructing in the color guard field, she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with a minor in Biology.
Heather performed in DCI in 2010 with the Phantom Regiment, and in 2011 and 2012 with Carolina Crown. She marched with New Berlin Eisenhower, Velocity WG, and multiple seasons with the Pride of Cincinnati WG.
She started working with Miamisburg by assisting as a Weapons Instructor and Choreographer for Miamisburg HS before becoming director through winter 2023. Prior to that she was the Director of Color Guard at University of Cincinnati. She has instructed or provided choreography for several programs including Carolina Crown, Boston Crusaders, Shadow Drum & Bugle Corps, Eisenhower HS, Whitnall HS, Franklin HS, West DePere HS, Sycamore HS, Northmont HS, Westerville HS, and Beechwood HS. Heather travels around the country helping instruct at clinics that offer fundraisers for many organizations. Heather stated, “I am extremely excited to continue and build on the traditions of the Miamisburg Color Guard program".
Robin Wells
Robin has been teaching with the Miamisburg Color Guard program since 2016, with a focus on flag instruction. She is also currently on the color guard instructional staff for the Phantom Regiment Drum Corps and Pride of Cincinnati, an Independent Winter Guard.
Sierra Bennet
Sierra graduated from Miamisburg in 2016 after spinning with the program for 11 years. She attended the Ohio State University and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Medical Anthropology in 2020. She has marched with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, Inspire, and Pride of Cincinnati Winterguard. She returned to the Miamisburg Colorguard Program as a staff member in 2020, and loves contributing to the organization that raised her!

Jennifer Pressel
Director, Sweethearts
Jennifer Pressel is the director of the Miamisburg Elementary Color Guard (Sweethearts) and Miamisburg A Guard. She was in Miamisburg’s color guard program for 9 years, starting with the Elementary Color Guard in 2008 and completing her senior year with the World Guard in 2017. After graduating, she joined the independent circuit and spun for four additional years, performing with Juxtaposition World Guard, Inspire World Guard, and the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Childhood Education (grades 4-9) and is currently a teacher at the Miamisburg Middle School. She also works in childcare over the summers at St. James Preschool and Childcare. She loves to work with kids and help them grow their abilities and confidence!
